After a childhood in Paris where she studied drawing and plastic arts; it’s in 1996 that Maryline decide to end her teenager’s years by a long trip to India….country that becomes revealing of her senses and source of inspiration in her eyes…. In 2002 she successfully obtains a diploma in gemmology from the laboratory of Japur; city of the gem cutting and jewellers since the mists of time; and stays six months a year to learn with the local silversmiths.
It’s finally in 2003 that she realizes one of her dream by creating her first jewellery collection made of silver and gemstones. “The art to gather these two precious substances”: that’s what her designs want to put forward bearing a contemporary expression principally “Art Deco”, but “Ethnic” and “Haute-Couture” as well.
“My models are inspired from everything I can observe in the daily life like the nature, some objects, the people and varied cultures I keep meeting during my travels, simply everything around me.
It sometimes appear into my dreams…the birth occurs the paper…
